This rustic summerhouse has been installed as an additional work area for a customer running an antiques business based in Petworth, West Sussex. They opted for a pretty, yet rustic looking, Holkham Summerhouse
as they wanted a building that had a similar aesthetic to their shop. To create the tailor-made summerhouse our customer had been dreaming of, our CAD engineers drew the manufacturing plans to order before it was hand-made from FSC® certified timber at our factory in Narford, Norfolk, and then delivered and assembled at our customer’s premises by members of our expert installations team.
From 1.8 x 2.4m to 4.8m x 6.0m, our Holkham is available is a range of sizes, with this one measuring 3.0 x 3.0m. It has a traditional look with Georgian bars fitted on the windows, as well as the double doors, grey slate effect tiles added to the pitched roof, and a painted exterior in the shade ‘Pebble from our exterior paint system.
My wife and I would like to thank you for the smooth and efficient "creation" of our summerhouse. From the initial valuable discussion with Alan McGregor at our home and the erection of our Holkham garden building, the whole process went precisely according to plan.
The base was laid on schedule and we were impressed with the smooth arrival of the building on the low loader. The construction was done precisely, calmly, efficiently and without any fuss by the three members of staff who were a credit to the company. On completion they kindly moved a heavy exercise bike from the house and put it in the building. It is a pleasure to sit in the space and it serves our purpose well.

To enable our customer to work comfortably inside throughout the year, the walls and ceiling have been lined and insulated with natural matchboard, the windows are double glazed and an electric pack with heater has been installed too. The Holkham comes unlined purely for summer use as standard, but our customer has chosen to add those additional extras onto their building so that they can have warmth, lighting, and power inside their garden office.
