Food for Thought at the Big Feastival - 17th August 2018
Just when you thought a quintessentially British music festival couldn’t get any better, The Big Feastival went and added gourmet food to the headliners. Taking place at Alex James’ Farm, who is the bassist from popular band, Blur, the event runs from the 24th – 26th August among the picturesque rolling fields of the Cotswolds.
Vintage Thrills and Frills at Firle Fair - 6th August 2018
Step back in time at the Firle Vintage Fair, a unique event taking place in the picturesque Sussex countryside over the 11th & 12th August 2018. The fair promises much entertainment with live music, workshops, activities, funfair rides and even a steam railway.
An Adventure in Art with ArtWave Festival - 27th July 2018
From the 18th August to the 2nd September, residents and visitors to Lewes, Seaford and Newhaven and the surrounding villages will have the chance to explore 153 open houses of artists and craftspeople. This is due to the Artwave festival taking over the area which means a range of diverse creatives will be showcasing their remarkable talents in jewellery, textiles, metalwork, ceramics, glass, craft, furniture, illustration, painting and printmaking. The best part is that all venues are free to visit and entirely accessible.
Pop Up Pictures Across East Anglia - 17th July 2018
Throughout July and August this summer, various locations such as Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds and Catton Park in Norwich will be playing host to the ultimate movie nights. Pop Up Pictures are taking over East Anglia to bring you a wide variety of films that will be screened outdoors during the evenings so that all you need to do is bring along a blanket, a camping chair or two and some good company.
The RAF’s Birthday Flyover from Sunningdale - 13th July 2018
2018 is a colossal year for all things aircraft, with it being the centenary year of the Royal Air Force. Those in the East of England and throughout the London area were perfectly placed for the birthday flypast, as up to 100 aircraft including Spitfires and Typhoons made their voyage from Ipswich over Buckingham Palace, and then onto Maidenhead. Those lucky spectators also included staff at our Sunningdale Show Site, who sent in a spectacular shot of their envy-inducing views.

Under 18s go free, making it the ideal family day out in the sunshine. Also close by is our Burford show site, where you can take a tour around various models of our high-quality timber buildings and perhaps be tempted by the inspiring artisan products sold at the Burford Garden Company.
Soak Up Sun and Fun at the Waterways Festival - 5th July 2018
On the 8th July 2018, the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust present the 2018 Newbury Waterways Festival, a celebration of the local waterways and the narrowboats that travel along it. Guaranteed to be a festivity of colour and family fun, the towpath is set to be lined with decorated narrowboats and Victoria Park, the venue of the festival, will be host to many stalls, activities and other forms of entertainment.
