Benefits of a garden office

Enhanced productivity and focus

A luxury garden office provides a dedicated, quiet, and comfortable workspace away from the distractions of the main house. With a separate environment tailored for work, you’ll be able to focus better, leading to increased productivity and efficiency. The luxurious amenities and custom design elements create an inspiring atmosphere conducive to creativity and concentration.

Improved work-life balance

Having your own office that isn't inside your home allows you to establish clear boundaries between work and home life. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still maintaining a separation between your professional and personal spaces. This separation promotes a healthier work-life balance, reducing stress and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Convenience and versatility

Garden offices offer the convenience of a short commute from the home to the workspace, eliminating the need for long and tiring journeys to an external office. This saves time and money, as well as reducing the environmental impact of commuting. Additionally, they provide flexibility in terms of work hours and schedules, allowing you to tailor your work environment to suit your preferences and optimise your workflow.

Any investment into your property is worth the money, and adding a garden office will also improve your working and home life, which is invaluable.

In most cases, planning permission is not required for garden offices, as they fall under ‘permitted development’. However, there may be certain size and location conditions to meet. If you would like to speak to one of our knowledgeable team about planning permission, please get in touch. In the meantime, take a look at our guide to planning permission.

Of course! A lot of garden offices are purpose-built for that exact use. They provide a quiet, dedicated space away from the distractions of the main house, immersed in the nature of your garden.

Our luxury garden offices come in various sizes to suit different outdoor spaces and user needs. Our team can work with you to find a size that fits perfectly in your outdoor space, get in touch to find out more.

Some of our garden office models are lined and insulated as standard, whereas it is an optional extra on others. If you would like to know more about our styles and what they include please get in touch with our designers.

Depending on the options you choose we can supply a garden office with double glazing, insulation and electrics to help you enjoy your building no matter the weather outside.

We can provide an electrical pack extra on our premium garden office buildings, so we can set everything up to run off electricity. You will just need to arrange the final connection to the house yourself.

The installation time can vary based on the size and complexity of your building. So it could take anywhere from half a day to five days to install. Five days would be for our larger, fully-lined and insulated buildings.

All of our timber buildings are built with robust materials and can be equipped with secure locks to provide safety and security.

Compared to traditional home extensions or loft conversions, a bespoke garden office often represents a cost-effective and less disruptive solution to gaining extra space. It’s also arguably a better option for working as it is removed from the distractions of the main home. However, costs can vary based on size, materials and customisation.
