Garden Studios are known by many names, including garden rooms and garden retreats. Garden Studio buildings can be modern in style, or they can be more practical looking, and from our experience, they get used for a whole host of reasons. Some of our customers have used them as a relaxing year-round garden room or an entertainment space, and others have transformed their Crane Garden Studio into a hobby room, a garden office, a gym and even a games room!
A Crane Garden Studio can be made suitable for year-round use, but if you are just looking for a summer-use building, we offer unlined designs as well, so whatever you want to use your Garden Studio for, you can be sure you will have a suitable space no matter what your purpose is.
If you would like your building to be year-round ready, you can choose our solid pine tongue and groove matchboard lining, insulation, and double glazing to help regulate the internal temperature. An electric pack with or without a heater can also be chosen on our Garden Studio buildings to provide light, power and heat throughout the year: our electric packs include interior lighting, four internal dual sockets, a light switch, external waterproof sockets, an 8-way consumer unit, and the option of adding a thermostatic 2kva heater with a digital display for the colder months.
Our Garden Studios are popular with those who are crafty and have creative pastimes and need a hobby room to home their passion. The full-length glazing in our Salthouse, Holt and Burnham garden studios are a favoured choice for an art room, as our artistic customers love the idea of having all that natural light fill up their building, as well as having a garden view to help inspire them.
Our modern Garden Studios are also very popular with customers as garden retreats, as they provide a place to enjoy their garden from with an unhindered view thanks to the full-length glazing in the doors and windows. They also make a wonderful focal point in your garden. The Holt Studio is an ideal choice if you would like both indoor and outdoor space to make the most of. You can dress the decking area with a pot plant or two, or even put a small patio garden set on it with the larger veranda sizes.
Customers whose crafting hobbies or professions require a desk are drawn to our Langham and Binham Studios, which both come with desk-height windows and are more traditional in style. Alternatively, a blend of the two styles, with a pent roof and top-hinged opening window can be offered with our Classic Office: a spacious area, ideal for use as a one-person office in the peace and quiet of your own back garden.
Depending on your intended use, our Superior Shed could be a good option for you to consider, or our lovely traditional Blakeney, Cley or Wiveton designs will all be perfect for either relaxing or crafting inside.
