This contemporary and attractive Holkham Summerhouse was recently installed for a customer based in Stafford, Staffordshire. Selected from our range of FSC® certified timber buildings, the Holkham was designed and hand-built at our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed by our expert team of in-house fitters.

Available in a range of different sizes with customised options available, this building measures 2.4 x 3.6m and has an apex roof covered in cedar shingles. It is clad with smooth shiplap for a contemporary look and our customer selected the exterior shade of Cream from the vast choice of exterior paints. Our exterior paint range also includes a Farrow and Ball palette to choose from. There are four opening windows to allow ventilation during the warmer months, which are also double glazed and feature attractive Georgian bars.

When I first wanted to look at the Crane display at Burford, Andrew was wonderfully helpful. He instantly understood what I was looking for, although I was not sure myself, and persuaded me to look at sheds which were cheaper than I originally thought I wanted. As a direct result of this, I decided to order a Holkham Summerhouse as well as a couple of sheds! When Andrew came to my house to advise on where the sheds should be sited, he again suggested solutions I had not thought of; he pointed out that my original idea involved unacceptably pruning a tree. By the end of it, I felt that Andrew was a personal friend, and later when I spoke to Robert on the phone, it was clear that everything I had discussed with Andrew had been passed on so I did not have to explain anything and felt that he too was a friend. It was a very professional operation.

Internally, the building is fully insulated and features an electrical pack for appliances and lighting. The customer opted for our natural matchboard lining option, which offers a warm and cosy feel inside.
