6 x 8’6” ft Summerhouse with Leaded Windows

This 6 x 8’6” ft Summerhouse has recently installed for one of our customers who wanted a cosy space where they could relax with a glass of wine and curl up with a good book during the summer months. Out of our vast range of summerhouses, they chose our Wiveton as they liked how its octagonal design would allow them to see more of their garden. Once the style of building had been selected, it was then designed and hand-made to order at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk by our skilled design and factory teams before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team.

From 6 x 6ft to 12 x 12ft, our Wiveton Summerhouses are available in five different sizes, with this one measuring 6 x 8’6” ft. There are opening windows in four out of the eight sides, as well as in the double doors, so that the inside of the summerhouse has a light and airy feel inside. To tailor the style of the windows to our customer’s taste, the glass on this particular summerhouse is leaded and they are finished with polished brass furniture.

For further customisation, our customer has chosen to cover the roof in cedar shingle tiles, and as they wanted a smooth finish for the outside of their building, they have opted for shiplap cladding painted in the shade Sage from our range of exterior paint colours.

To ensure the summerhouse is comfortable for use throughout the majority of the year, the walls and ceiling have been lined with natural matchboard and insulated. Our customer also wanted to add power and lighting to the inside of their Wiveton so they have had an electric pack installed as an additional extra.
