This 10 x 10ft summerhouse was installed recently for a customer who wanted a relaxing retreat from which they could soak up the beauty of their surrounding garden in. The customer opted for our Wiveton Summerhouse as they liked how its octagonal shape allowed them to view their garden from multiple angles. As with all of our garden building, this summerhouse was designed and hand-crafted to order inside our Norfolk factory at our Narford HQ before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team.
Our Wiveton Summerhouses are available in five different sizes from 6 x 6ft (1.8 x 1.8m) to 12 x 12ft (3.6 x 3.6m), with this one measuring 10 x 10ft (3.0 x 3.0m). They have windows in four out of the eight sides, as well as in the double doors, which help give a light and airy feel inside and an octagonal shaped roof. This customer has opted for leaded style windows, made from 4mm toughened safety glass, and cedar shingle tiles on the roof which are designed to naturally grey/silver over time. This Wiveton Summerhouse also has our standard shiplap cladding on the exterior which our customer has chosen to be painted in the colour Lizard from our exterior paint system.

To ensure this building is comfortable for use for the majority of the year, our Wiveton Summerhouses come lined with insulation in the walls and ceiling as standard. To decorate the inside to their own personal taste, our customer has chosen natural matchboard for the lining and a natural lacquer to be applied to the floorboards, which will help to protect the timber as well as give it a nice sheen. To add further comfort to the inside of their building, our customer has also opted for an electric pack to be added on as extra so that the building could be supplied with power and lighting.
