12 x 14ft Garden Room

This 12 x 14ft Garden Room is one of our Apex Garden Rooms, delivered and installed by experts from our installations team. It was designed to our customer’s specifications by our in-house CAD engineers before being hand-crafted to order from FSC® certified timber by skilled craftsmen at our factory in Narford, Norfolk. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our timber garden rooms as part of the end-to-end service we offer our customers.

The Apex Garden Room is built for your use throughout the year with an apex roof design. This is a good option for anyone with a height-restricted garden as the pitch on the roof can be altered to accommodate your needs. It is available in many different sizes, but our customer opted for a 12 x 14ft garden room with a reduced roof pitch to bring the overall height of the building down to below 2.5m. It has two single opening windows and 3/4 glazed double doors to the front of the timber garden room, and an additional double opening window installed on both sides. The lower pitch apex roof is covered in grey slate effect tiles and guttering has also been fitted, which will collect excess rainwater runoff from the roof and deposit it away from the garden room to protect the bottom boards. The windows are Georgian in style and the exterior has been clad with smooth shiplap. To finish, the exterior of this timber garden room has been painted in a two-tone fashion using our Exterior Paint System. The main colour chosen is Verdigris, with the window and door frames highlighted beautifully in Ivory.

Internally, the Apex Garden Room benefits from being fully insulated, lined, and double glazed as standard, ensuring year-round comfort. Electrics and a heater are also included so that the timber garden room can be supplied with power, lighting and additional warmth. The walls and ceiling are lined with Ivory painted matchboard and Copenhagen engineered flooring has been laid, offering a light and bright feel inside. Our customer has also chosen to have heavy-duty floorboards installed too, which are EX 38mm thick compared to our standard EX 19mm thickness. Our customer opted for this option as they are planning on having a heavy Pilates reformer machine installed after installation.
