Holkham Summerhouse with Full Insulation

Situated in our customer’s garden in Grantham, Lincolnshire, this Holkham Summerhouse is 2.4 x 3.6m in size, and it has been installed for the customer to use as a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy their garden from.

To make the inside comfortable and homely, the customer opted to have full insulation (walls, floor and ceiling), painted matchboard lining in Ivory, a Natural lacquer on the floor, and double glazing.

The insulation, lining and double glazing will also help the customer to enjoy their garden building, not only in the summer months, but in the cooler months too.

When I first wanted to look at the Crane display at Burford, Andrew was wonderfully helpful. He instantly understood what I was looking for, although I was not sure myself, and persuaded me to look at sheds which were cheaper than I originally thought I wanted. As a direct result of this, I decided to order a Holkham Summerhouse as well as a couple of sheds! When Andrew came to my house to advise on where the sheds should be sited, he again suggested solutions I had not thought of; he pointed out that my original idea involved unacceptably pruning a tree. By the end of it, I felt that Andrew was a personal friend, and later when I spoke to Robert on the phone, it was clear that everything I had discussed with Andrew had been passed on so I did not have to explain anything and felt that he too was a friend. It was a very professional operation.

Georgian windows add an elegant, traditional touch, and this has been matched with cedar shingle tiles on the roof, and the paint colour the customer chose for their Holkham is Lizard, which is a natural green colour from our Valtti Paint Range.

The designs in our Summerhouse range can be made to cater for purely summer use, but they can also be made to use through most, if not all of the year too, whether that is for a hobby room, garden office, or for prolonged relaxation purposes.
