Blakeney Summerhouse in Lizard Paint

Recently installed for a customer based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, this customisable Garden Building was selected to be a custom-built hybrid featuring both storage and recreational area from our large range of FSC® certified timber buildings. Named the Blakeney Summerhouse, the building’s standard design was modified slightly to ensure that it would fit perfectly in the customer’s desired space. Designed and hand-built to order at our Norfolk factory, the building was then both delivered and assembled at the specified delivery address by our team of in-house installation experts.

The custom-designed summerhouse measures 1.8 x 4.2m and features double access doors in one gable, with a storage partition in the other gable, accessed by an external door in the length of the building. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap timber and painted in the stunning shade of Lizard, with an apex roof covered in our heavy-duty, heat-bonded felt for optimum durability and weatherproofing and an overhang on the gable, giving the double access doors both shelter and shade in the applicable seasons.

I just wanted to let you know that we have been delighted with our Blakeney Summerhouse and it is getting a lot of use despite the appalling weather we have had since it went up on 13th June. The specification we eventually worked out with your help is exactly what we wanted and fits the site perfectly. Communication with the factory worked well and the team who came to install it did a very professional job. We will have no hesitation in recommending Crane to our friends.

The customer has opted to both insulate and line the interior of the building, opting for painted pine lining in the airy shade of Ivory and an electrical pack so that light and power can be enjoyed throughout the year.
