This octagonal summerhouse is our Wiveton Summerhouse and it has been installed in this beautiful garden belonging to a customer based in Churt, Surrey. Our customer chose our Wiveton out of our vast range of garden buildings as they liked how its octagonal shape, with windows in four out of the eight sides as well as in the double doors, allowed them to appreciate their newly landscaped garden from many different angles. Once the style of building had been chosen, it was designed by our CAD engineers and hand-crafted to order using FSC® certified timber inside the factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. Delivery and assembly by our expert installations team is included for all of our buildings.

Our Wiveton Summerhouse is available in five different sizes, with this one measuring 3.0 x 3.0m. Its octagonal roof is covered in cedar shingles and the windows on this particular Wiveton are fitted with leaded glass. The outside of the building is clad using smooth shiplap, which has been coated in the blue-grey shade of Pigeon from Farrow & Ball’s rich and fully opaque paint system.

To enable our customer to use the building throughout the year, its walls and ceiling come lined and insulated as standard. For maximum comfort inside, our customer has also opted for the floor to be insulated and an electric pack installed, supplying the building with power and lighting. The walls are lined with Ivory painted matchboard and the floor has a light oak lacquer applied, which will protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen.
