This 2.4 x 4.2m Superior Shed
has been installed in our customer’s garden in Oakamoor, Staffordshire to be used as both a garden storage shed, and animal feed shed with the help of a partition.
The shed is split into two sections, a 2.4 x 2.4m section to the right with a single door, three windows, and a workbench. This is the garden storage section that the customer will also be able to use as a potting shed with the workbench. Our workbenches are made from oak faced plywood for a sturdy, solid finish: they are 900mm tall and 600mm deep. In the right-hand gable, there are two windows, one of which can be opened to allow for ventilation during warmer days. The workbench also sits underneath these windows, meaning the customer will have a nice view of the woodlands at the back of their garden when inside their shed.
The second section on the left is 2.4 x 1.8m in size, and this section will be used to store animal feed and equipment for the chickens they keep. Internally, the whole building is unlined.
I had to put pen to paper or rather finger to keyboard and email you. After 12 weeks wait and a big bill, My shed arrived Tuesday 10th September. What can I say, this is not a shed it is a vastly superior model railway building. Well worth the expense and wait. Roger and Steve arrived on time and although having to navigate down the overcrowded cul-d-sac to My house, were both cheerful and efficient. The shed is more than expected even after visiting Narford to view the sheds. From the first phone call, through dealing and ordering with James to the final payment over the phone everyone at Cranes has been both friendly and professional. Although there was a small problem it has now been sorted in your usual friendly manner. Once again thank you all for your wonderful service and a shed to make the neighbours jealous and modelling an even bigger pleasure.

The sloping pent roof on this shed is covered in our heavy duty felt, which is heat-bonded onto the roof to increase its longevity. Other external features include shiplap cladding which gives a smooth finish to the exterior timber, and the shed has been painted in the colour Grey from our Sikkens exterior stain treatment. Sikkens helps to protect the timber, while allowing the natural grain of the timber to still be visible, and therefore enhancing the natural beauty of the wood.
Our Superior Shed range gives you the opportunity to tailor a building to your exact needs. Choose from an extensive range of sizes to fit your garden, decide whether you want a pent or apex roof design, whether you want a simple unlined shed, or whether you would like it to be lined and insulated with double glazing and electrics to make a year-round use workshop.
