Superior Shed with Black Guttering
This majestic looking Superior Shed has recently been installed at the bottom of our customer’s lovely garden in Watford, Hertfordshire to be used as a workshop for the customer to work on his wood carvings in.
The workshop is 2.4 x 6.0m, so the customer will have plenty of room to work on his craft inside it.
There are grey slate composite tiles on the roof with black guttering framing the front of the building to help protect the timber from too much rainfall. Underneath the guttering on this front side, there are double doors with windows in on the right, and to the left of the doors is a set of the three windows, the middle of which can be opened. The windows in this building were made with plain glass, but they are double glazed to help with heat retention.
The cladding on the building is shiplap, and the customer wanted to keep the building as natural as possible, so they opted for the Light Oak preservative that we use as a standard basecoat on our buildings. This will help protect the timber, but it will need to be reapplied every year to maintain this protection.
Inside the building, the customer opted for oak faced ply lining on the walls, insulation in the walls and ceiling and a security pack. The security pack consists of stainless steel bars that are fitted into the windows, a seven lever lock and a heavy duty bolt.
This Superior Shed is a workshop built to our customer’s specifications; if you would like a shed for your garden, whether for storage, a workshop or a hobby room, please Contact Us or call us on 01760 444229 and we will be able to talk to you about your own specifications and answer any questions you may have.
