This is an example of one of our more pretty Superior Sheds
, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden in Hertford, Hertfordshire to use as a garden retreat/sewing and reading room.
To fit in the allocated space, the size of this customer’s garden sanctuary is 2.1 x 3.6m (a custom size), and the customer has chosen features that will make it suitable to use all through the year, including full insulation, painted matchboard lining (not usually a feature we offer with our Superior Sheds), double glazing, and an electric pack.
Externally, this is a very attractive building, with a tailor-made steep pitched roof to give a loftier feel inside, a roof overhang, grey slate effect roofing tiles, Georgian windows, white guttering, and a two-tone paint finish.
I had quite a lot of questions in the lead up to placing an order for a superior shed that is divided into two compartments - as studio at one end and garden shed at the other. I also wanted to alter some aspects of the shed design after submitting the order. Robert Phelps could not have been more helpful. The fact that he came on a site visit was very reassuring and the whole process was the mark of a high quality product and service.

The two paint colours are from our exterior paint system: Pebble has been used for the walls, and Ivory for the doors and windows.
A security pack finishes the customer’s retreat, ensuring everything inside will be kept safe. The pack includes a seven lever lock and heavy duty sliding bolt, and security screws for the door hinges (the customer has chosen not to include the stainless steel window bars).
