Superior Garden Shed with Oak Faced Ply Lining
This height restricted Superior Shed
is 2.4 x 1.8m in size with an apex roof, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden to Woodley, Berkshire to use as an attractive storage shed with easy access to the house.
To keep a chill off of the tools and items inside throughout the winter months, the customer opted to have oak faced ply lining on the walls and insulation in the walls and ceiling for extra warmth.
Heavy duty felt has been used on the roof, which is a thick felt that is propane torched onto the roof for waterproof protection.
I’ve been meaning for the last week to write praising Cranes to the skies and telling you just how thrilled we are with our beautiful new building... ...We are SO impressed with all the members of staff we've had the pleasure of meeting over the period we've been planning this - without exception everyone in Cranes has been helpful, considerate and cheery and nobody told us that to try and get a top of the range biuilding into a space without proper access was foolhardy - they just made sure it happened. It's truly wonderful in this day and age to encounter such superior, faultless and courteous organisation and implementation. Many congratulations and thanks to you all.

Due to the proximity of the fence to the shed, the customer would normally have needed to apply for Planning Permission; however, after asking us, he found out that we could lower the pitch of the roof to make the shed sit at 2.5m in height, so that he didn’t need to go through this process.
To finish off the building, the customer chose to have a single Georgian window for a bit of traditional style, and the shed has been painted in our exterior paint system, in the colour, Lizard, which is a natural green colour to help blend in well with the garden.
