Jenny's Garden Gym

When Jenny and her family began looking for extra space at their home in Cringleford near Norwich, they initially considered building an extension. However, the potential cost, disruption and lengthy process led them to explore alternative options.

After researching different solutions, Jenny decided that a garden room would provide the additional space they needed while offering far greater flexibility and value. She went on to choose a Holt Studio.

Fully kitted out with insulation, electrics and heating, Jenny's garden studio has now become a dedicated home gym and relaxation space that she and her family use regularly throughout the year. “Not only is the Wi-Fi linked up to our outside space, so we can watch television while we work out", Jenny says, "our plug sockets are also Bluetooth enabled which means we can turn on the lights and heating before we leave the house – ensuring the space is always welcoming.”

Designed around Jenny’s fitness routine, the studio is home to a rowing machine and a static bike, creating a convenient and comfortable place to exercise without leaving the property. The addition of a television allows workouts to be more enjoyable, while the insulated building means the space can be used in every season.

In addition to being a dedicated fitness space, the studio has been furnished for relaxation and garden enjoyment. “Alongside our rowing machine and static bike, we have two rotating armchairs which gives us somewhere comfortable to sit and enjoy the space too,” Jenny explains.

The building was delivered and installed by our expert fitting team, all included within the price. Jenny commended the customer service, adding “the experience with Crane has been very good. The garden rooms themselves are nice looking and well built, while the team seemed helpful and even facilitated some last-minute changes.”
