On 26 April 2015 the RHS are hosting another sublime garden show event. The RHS London Alpine Garden Show is to be held in the RHS Lindley Halls between 10am – 4am.
There will be talks taking place all day long with a focus on mountains and plant hunting. With Specialist books on sale, alongside a photographic exhibition and a large rock garden displaying Alpine plants you can find inspiration and new techniques on how to decorate your own garden.
The RHS worked closely with Alpine Garden Society (AGS) prior to the show. Many of their members will be exhibiting and on hand to offer advice and guidance regarding the various unusual plants that will be available to buy at the show.
If you are interested in Alpine plants and would like to add some unusual and magnificent features to your very own garden then this will be the right garden show for you.
This event is being held on the same day as the london marathon. This does not effect the RHS London Alpine Garden show and will be open as usual. For information about the route and road closures, visit the London Marathon website.
Even if you aren't able to make it to this event, why not make the most of your own garden and use it as an excuse to get out and do the odd jobs that have accumulated over the winter.
While you're out and about, why not take the opportunity to visit one of our show centres, located in Narford, Norfolk, Edwalton, Nottinghamshire, Burford, Oxfordshire or Newbury in Berkshire and experience first hand, more than 40 on-site display buildings.
With a lead time of around 10-14 weeks, there is still time to order a garden shed, summerhouse, garden office or greenhouse in time for the summer. Plus, you can design your own in our Online Garden Building Planner tool and tailor the door, window, interior and exterior design to your exact requirements.
