This has been a long time in the making, but we are pleased to officially announce our collaboration with Farrow & Ball, the paint and wallpaper experts, and say that we now have 12 of their pigment-rich exterior paint colours to choose from with our buildings.
Farrow & Ball’s exterior eggshell paint has a mid-sheen finish and is perfectly suited for use on our timber buildings. The paint is durable, flexible and highly resistant to flaking and peeling, as well as being water and fungal resistant. The twelve colours that have been chosen are natural in tone, and are all perfectly suited to the traditional designs of the buildings.
You can peruse the colours from this new paint system in our Exterior Colour Ranges section of the website, and even request free samples of the colours of your choice. These samples are not digital print-offs, but 11 x 11cm squares that have been sprayed in the actual paint to give our customers a true indication of the colours and the finish.
The first outing for the Farrow & Ball paint on our buildings was at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show on our trade stand: the show building, our Pavilion Garden Room, was painted in Farrow & Ball’s French Gray, which is a wonderful, soft green colour that blends in well with natural garden colours.
The garden buildings that the Farrow & Ball paint colours will be available to choose with are our Superior Sheds, Garden Rooms, Summerhouses, Studios, Garages and Greenhouses, and there are now several buildings at each of our show centres in Farrow & Ball colours to walk around too.
This collaboration is the first of its kind that Farrow & Ball have embarked on with anyone from the timber buildings sector, so it is exciting news for both of us. Farrow & Ball were founded in the 1940s in Dorset, and they specialise in sourcing the finest ingredients and using traditional methods to create wonderful colours with exceptional depth of colour.
