One of our signature design Garden Rooms
has been installed for a customer based in Birmingham, West Midlands. Our customer chose our Garden Room as they wanted a classic and elegant building to stand pride of place in their garden and they liked its hipped roof design. Once our customer had chose the style of building they wanted, they could then choose from our selection of interior and exterior design options to create a building that meets their requirements from both a practicability and style aspect. Their tailor-made Garden Room was designed by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted to order from FSC® certified timber inside our factory, based at our Norfolk HQ. It was then delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our team of expert installers.
From 3.0 x 3.0m to 5.4 x 6.0m, with plenty of sizes in between, our Garden Rooms are available in a wide range of sizes. Our customer’s hipped roof Garden Room is made in our largest size and it is configured with a double window set either side of the inset double doors in the gable, with an additional double window set on each side. The windows are leaded, the roof is lined with guttering and covered in cedar shingles, and the exterior is weatherboard clad, offering a charming, rustic look. To decorate, our customer opted for two paint colours from Farrow & Ball. They selected to have the Garden Room painted in French Gray, with the doors and window frames highlighted with Pointing. Both exterior paint colours further accentuate the traditional tone of this building.
Just a short note to say how pleased we are with the Garden Room, and how impressed we were with the team that laid the concrete foundation and the second team that erected the building. Both were led by Cliff who was hardworking, effective, efficient and, above all, competent. I had every confidence in the on-site workmanship. Thank you.
Mr E G - London
Full internal lining, insulation, and double glazing are all features that are included in the price of our signature Garden Room. We also include electrics and a heater too, which provides the building with power, lighting, and additional warmth. To customise the interior to their own tastes, our customer has opted for Farrow & Ball painted matchboard on the walls, in the shade Pointing, which is a nice contrast to the Heritage Oak engineered flooring laid.
