Traditional National Trust Orford Summerhouse
A traditionally styled, pent roof summerhouse, this National Trust Orford has been installed in our customer’s garden in Cliddesden, Hampshire to use as a haven to enjoy their garden from in the summer months.
The National Trust range of summerhouses have been designed based on outbuildings from National Trust estates across East Anglia, which is where their traditional styling stems from. The National Trust range are summerhouses for summer use, to enjoy the natural beauty of your garden in when the sun is at its height, as would have been their purpose when the estates they are designed from were in the height of their popularity 100+ years ago.
If a year-round garden building is what you’re looking for, please have a look at our own range of Summerhouses, Garden Studios and Garden Rooms and see their different designs and features.
The Orford is perfect if you have a smaller or more awkwardly shaped garden, as it will fit very comfortably into a corner due to its shape.
Traditional features include an olden style corrugated material on the roof, cast iron door and window furniture in the Fleur-de-Leys style, leaded windows, and vertical sawn boards for the external cladding. To finish the whole thing off, the paint colour is Terrace Green from the National Trust paint range.
