Our Holkham Summerhouse is available in a range of sizes. You could have it made to be as small as 1.8 x 2.4m or as large as 4.8 x 6.0m. Our customer has opted for the 2.4 x 3.6m size, with a set of double doors and two fixed windows in the side of the building, and an additional double opening window set in either gable. The Holkham Summerhouse has an apex roof, which our customer has decided to have covered in grey slate effect tiles. Our customer has also chosen to have guttering installed to line the roof and collect any excess rainwater run-off from the roof, which will deposit it away from the building and protect the bottom boards of the building.

Another option selected by our customer for their Holkham Summerhouse is the leaded style windows, which give the building a traditional look. Our customer has also chosen to have them double glazed as extra, providing additional comfort. The Holkham comes unlined and unpainted as standard, with the shiplap clad exterior being treated with a Light Oak preservative to help protect the timber from fungi and woodworm, making it a great option if you would like to decorate and line and insulate the building yourself. You can, however, upgrade to have a painted exterior, with the choice of our Exterior Paint System or Farrow & Ball, and you can also have the interior lined and insulated to turn it into a year-round use building if you wish.
Whether you would like a traditional Summerhouse like our Holkham or would prefer something more modern, we have a variety of different designs in our Summerhouse collection.
