In Pulborough, West Sussex, we have recently installed this spectacular Garden Room
for a customer who wanted a garden building for use as an additional living space. Once the building design and optional extras were decided by our customer, our in-house CAD and factory teams set to work to design and hand-make the building to order inside our factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk before it was delivered and assembled in the garden of our customer by our expert installations team.
This Garden Room has been designed to measure 4.2 x 6.0m and features a hipped roof, inset double doors and 9 opening windows. The roof has been covered in cedar shingle tiles which are designed to naturally weather to a silver/grey colour, and it has been lined with black guttering to collect excess rainwater and deposit it away from the building. The windows have been made from double glazed 4mm thick toughed safety glass and are fitted with draft excluders. A fanlight window has also been added for ventilation purposes.
Our customer wanted their building to have a traditional look and feel so they have opted for rustic-style weatherboard cladding painted in the shade Ash from our exterior paint range. They have also chosen to add corner boards to their building to further enhance its look.
Just a short note to say how pleased we are with the Garden Room, and how impressed we were with the team that laid the concrete foundation and the second team that erected the building. Both were led by Cliff who was hardworking, effective, efficient and, above all, competent. I had every confidence in the on-site workmanship. Thank you.

To ensure our Garden Rooms are suitable for use throughout the year, they come fully lined and insulated to allow for maximum comfort inside. Our Garden Rooms also come with an electric pack and heater as standard so that our customers can enjoy power, lighting and warmth in their buildings. To decorate the internal space to their tastes, this customer has opted for Ivory painted matchboard on the walls and ceiling while the floor has been treated with a natural lacquer to help protect the timber as well as give it a nice sheen.
As our customer wanted to use this building as an additional living space, they chose to add two internal partitions to their building in order to create a room for a toilet to be installed by their plumber after installation. While we are unable to install plumbing works ourselves, we were able to tailor the design of this building to meet our customer’s vision as every aspect of our Garden Rooms are hand-crafted to order.
