Cley Summerhouse with an Electric Pack

This traditionally attractive garden building is our Cley Summerhouse, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden in Lowestoft, Suffolk to use as a pretty writing office that they can sit in, surrounded by her lovely garden, and use all year-round.

Being able to use their new summerhouse all through the year was very important for the customer, and with the help of an electrical pack, insulation in the walls and ceiling, and painted matchboard lining on the walls, in Ivory, they will certainly be able to do so.

This Cley is 3.0 x 3.6m, so the customer will have plenty of room inside to fit a desk, a bookcase, and a few other home comforts inside.

Everything was well explained and communication was constant and timely. The sales team at Hilliers Hermitage went out of their way to come to our garden and show us how our ordered Cley Summerhouse would fit. The installation team - Craig and Mark - were wonderfully helpful with their suggestions for how to position internal fittings, as was the electrician.

Externally, the traditional look is achieved with cedar shingle tiles on the hipped roof (the tiles are this terracotta colour initially before they season to a silver/grey colour over the course of 6-12 months), the windows are Georgian in style, and the building has been painted in Sage, which is a natural green colour from our exterior paint system.
