Garden Shed in North Berwick, Lothian
We installed this Superior Shed
in the garden of a customer based in North Berwick, Lothian. Our customer wanted a large building from which they could work on DIY projects so that is why they opted for our Superior Shed with all the features that would enable them to use it throughout the year. As all our buildings are designed to order by our CAD engineers, our customer was able to pick and choose which features they wanted for their building before it was hand-crafted inside the factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. To ensure our buildings are assembled to the high standards we pride ourselves on, we include delivery and installation in the overall price.
From very large to very small, we make our Superior Sheds in a varying number of sizes, with this customer opting for a 3.0 x 4.8m garden shed. It has an apex roof design with a set of double doors in the gable and three double window sets in the side. The doors have an opening of 1700 x 1800mm, allowing our customer to get large items in and out of their shed with ease, and the windows are made using toughened safety glass. The shed has a rustic look with weatherboard cladding treated in a Grey Sikkens wood stain and the grey slate effect tiles on the roof.
I’ve been meaning for the last week to write praising Cranes to the skies and telling you just how thrilled we are with our beautiful new building... ...We are SO impressed with all the members of staff we've had the pleasure of meeting over the period we've been planning this - without exception everyone in Cranes has been helpful, considerate and cheery and nobody told us that to try and get a top of the range biuilding into a space without proper access was foolhardy - they just made sure it happened. It's truly wonderful in this day and age to encounter such superior, faultless and courteous organisation and implementation. Many congratulations and thanks to you all.

Our customer has opted for a fully lined and insulated interior, with the walls and ceiling lined with oak faced ply. An electric pack with heater has been installed to supply the building with power, lighting, and warmth and heavy-duty flooring, which is ex 38mm thick, has been laid to support the weight of heavy equipment. One of our oak-faced plywood workbenches has also been fitted to provide our customer with a solid and sturdy base to work. To give extra protection to the items stored inside, our customer has chosen to add our security pack onto their shed as extra. Our security pack compromises of a fully steel encased 7 lever lock that is anti-sawing, anti-picking, anti-cropping and anti-prising, non-returnable security screws on the door hinges that are impossible to unscrew, and 13mm stainless steel bars mortised into the window frames.
