2.4 x 3.6m Cley Summerhouse in Exterior Pebble Paint with Georgian Windows

This Hipped Roof Cley Summerhouse was installed in the lovely garden of a customer living in Saltney, Cheshire. It was designed and hand-made to order from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and assembled in our customer’s garden by our skilled installations team. Delivery and installation are included in the price of all our buildings, giving you peace of mind that your building has been assembled to the highest of standards by our experts.

Our Cley Summerhouse has a traditional shape, with windows in three out of the four sides. It is available in a range of sizes, with the smallest being 1.8 x 2.4m and the largest 3.6 x 4.8m. Our customer has opted for the 2.4 x 3.6m size, with grey slate effect tiles on the hipped roof and Georgian style windows. To match the colour of the roof tiles, our customer chose to have the exterior shiplap painted in the grey-toned colour of Pebble from our Exterior Paint System.

Everything was well explained and communication was constant and timely. The sales team at Hilliers Hermitage went out of their way to come to our garden and show us how our ordered Cley Summerhouse would fit. The installation team - Craig and Mark - were wonderfully helpful with their suggestions for how to position internal fittings, as was the electrician.

The walls and ceiling come lined and insulated as standard on our Cley Summerhouse, but for further comfort, our customer has opted to add floor insulation and double glazing as extra. They also chose to have electrics and a heater installed too, supplying the Summerhouse with power, lighting, and additional warmth. Our customer upgraded from natural matchboard to have the walls and ceiling lined with Ivory painted matchboard and they also chose to have engineered flooring laid in the colour Heritage Oak. Our engineered floorboards sit on top of the existing floorboards, with a layer of underlay in between the two for insulating and sound absorbing benefits.
