This 10 x 8ft Blakeney Summerhouse has recently been installed in the garden of a customer who wanted a summerhouse to relax in during warm summer days. They opted for our Blakeney Summerhouse from our vast range of garden buildings as they liked its chalet-style. Once our customer selected what type of building they wanted, our in-house teams set to work designing and hand-crafting the building to order in our Norfolk factory at our Narford HQ before it was delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our expert installers.
From 8 x 6ft to 16 x 20ft, our Blakeney Summerhouses are available in a variety of different sizes, with this one measuring 10 x 8ft. They come with chalet-style, fully glazed doors and windows as standard which allow for plenty of natural light inside. It also has an overhanging apex roof that comes covered in our heavy-duty roofing felt but you could also cover it with cedar shingle tiles, terracotta slate effect tiles or our grey slate effect tiles, like this customer has opted for.
As with all of our garden buildings, the cladding on this Blakeney is made using FSC® Certified timber, machined from very high-quality Redwood trees grown in Northern Sweden, close to the Arctic Circle. You can choose to pick our weatherboard cladding, which is designed to give your building a more rustic look, or you could opt our standard shiplap cladding which will give your building a smooth finish, just like this customer has. To decorate, this customer has chosen to paint the exterior in the colour Sundrenched Blue from our range of exterior paint, which are weather resistant and protective.
Everything was excellent from start to finish. The team installing my Blakeney Summerhouse were extremely polite, worked consistently from the moment they arrived, and did a very professional job.

Internally, this customer has chosen to add insulation to the walls with our painted matchboard lining in the colour Ivory. To make the building more comfortable for year-round use, you can also add insulation to the floor and the ceiling as well as an electric pack with heater to add power and warmth to your building.
