8 x 12ft Contemporary Garden Office

This 8 x 12ft contemporary garden office is the Salthouse, hand-made to order for a customer wanting a year-round use outdoor office that they could work from home in all throughout the year. It was designed to our customer’s specification by our CAD engineers and crafted from FSC® certified timber inside our Norfolk factory by skilled craftsmen. This home garden office was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by our installations team, which we include in the overall price of all our garden buildings as part of our end-to-end service.

Our Salthouse has a stylish pent roof design, featuring a fully glazed front elevation that will flood the interior with plenty of natural light. It is available in many different sizes, with our customer wanting an 8 x 12ft garden office design. The roof is covered in heavy-duty felt as standard and the floor-to-ceiling glass panels are made using toughened safety glass and are double glazed. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap and painted in your choice of colour from our Exterior Paint System, with our customer choosing Twine for their garden office. We also offer the option of upgrading your paint system to Farrow & Ball, where you can take your pick from a range of specially selected colours from their rich and fully opaque paint system.

To ensure you stay comfortable throughout the year while you are working from home, the Salthouse comes fully lined and insulated as standard. The walls and ceiling of this insulated garden office are lined with natural matchboard as standard, offering a warm, natural feel. You could choose to have the walls and ceiling lined with painted matchboard and we offer a range of flooring options as an alternative to our standard flooring. With this in mind, our customer opted to have their floor treated with a natural lacquer, which will help to protect the timber while also giving it a nice sheen. You may also want to consider having electrics and a heater installed, just like this customer did to ensure your new luxury garden office is supplied with power, lighting, and additional warmth.
