14 x 18 Burnham Studio with Apex Roof (Ref: 105)

This 14’ x 18’ Burnham Studio with Apex Roof was installed in our customer’s shed to be used as a gym.

The customer wants it to put all of her exercise equipment inside, including an exercise mat, running machine and Pilates equipment to have a peaceful place away from the confines of her home to exercise in.

This garden studio has a set of double doors with a wall of full-length glass windows alongside them, which will allow plenty of light into the studio. On the left gable end of the studio, there are also two more full-length glass windows, following on from the wall of windows at the front.

The roof of this Burnham has been covered in Grey Slate Composite Tiles, which, along with the Pebble exterior paint system paint, makes for a very classic style.

On the inside of this garden studio there is a heavy-duty floor that has been lacquered to give it a shiny finish. This will mean that the floor is also more durable, and, since it is heavy-duty, it will also be better equipped to withstand the energetic use of the exercise equipment.

The walls have been insulated and have got painted matchboard lining. This lining and the paint just gives the studio a classier feel, not leaving the customer feeling like they’re in a shed.

To let the customer utilise this room all year round, as well as the wall insulation, the customer also opted for an electrical pack with a heater. The electrical pack will also allow her to install lights and put a music system in there so that she can listen to music while she’s exercising.
