Garden buildings make for great entertaining spaces. They provide somewhere outside of your home where you can socialise with friends and family. As the space is separate from your home, it can be kitted out specifically for entertaining and designed exactly how you want to use the space. The best entertainment spaces can be used all throughout the year, so you may want a building that is fully lined and insulated, and then you can start thinking about what furnishings you would like inside.
We are sure you have your own ideas for how you would use and decorate your garden party room, but if you are looking for some garden entertainment room inspiration, we have put together some photos of previous customer buildings, as well as dressed buildings for our show centres to show you how they can be used for entertaining.
Garden Games Room
Whether you like to play video games, table, card or board games, there are endless opportunities for fun inside a garden games room. As the space is fully adaptable you can switch up your game nights each week for whatever game takes your fancy.
You can add a pool table and dartboard inside, a dedicated games table, and a tv mounted on the wall to plug in your games console, and you will have the best of all worlds.
Every hour is happy hour when you have a bar installed in your garden. Garden bars are an idea that have grown in popularity over the past couple of years, especially during the coronavirus pandemic when socialising at home was strongly encouraged.
A garden bar will give you somewhere to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of a long day and provide you with the ultimate garden party room when you want to invite friends and family over.
If drinks with friends and family are not really your thing, how about dinner instead? You could turn your garden building into an alfresco dining area by adding a table with enough chairs to seat your nearest and dearest.
Having a dining room outdoors will offer a different atmosphere than sat around the dining table in your home as you can enjoy views of your garden as you eat. You can tuck into good food and engage in some stimulating after-dinner chat all while admiring the natural beauty surrounding you.
Hot Tub Party Space
If you are someone who dreams of holding hot tub parties, consider a garden building that can accommodate a hot tub. The side veranda on our Holt Studio can be extended up to 3.0m, providing ample room to house a hot tub. The roof overhang is extended to the side too, so you enjoy hot tub time under shelter from wind and rain.
You can also have your design tailored to include partitions to create separate rooms inside your garden building. You can have a changing room, so your guests have somewhere private to get changed afterwards, and if you would like some storage to keep any chemicals you may need to keep your hot tub in perfect working order, you can have a storage area included as part of your design too. Just contact our friendly advisors for more information.
Sometimes the best nights of entertainment are just sitting with friends and catching up. By adding a corner sofa, a coffee table and hanging a few prints on the wall, you can turn your garden room into a cosy outdoor lounge, where you can chat with friends and family in comfort.
The beauty of a garden entertainment room is that it can be used for multiple purposes. You could also use this setup as a movie room by mounting a TV on the wall, and you could add a desk in the corner of the room so it can be used as an office when you’re not entertaining.
