1.5 x 3.0m Grey Sikkens Superior Shed in Bosham, West Sussex

This 1.5 x 3.0m shed has been installed in Bosham, West Sussex for a customer who wanted a shed where they could work on DIY projects and occasionally storage their bikes inside. Our customer had one of our Morston Summerhouses installed last year so they opted for one of our Superior Sheds as they were happy with the high-quality of their existing building. This FSC® certified timber shed was hand-made to order inside the factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk before being delivered and assembled at our customer’s address by our expert installers, which is included in the price of all of our buildings.

Our Superior Sheds are available in a wide range of standard and non-standard sizes, so we can tailor the design to be however big or small you require. Our customer opted for a non-standard 1.5 x 3.0m size with a pent roof covered with heavy duty roofing felt, a single door and two fixed windows in the side, and an opening window in the gable.

To complement the paint work on their existing Crane Summerhouse, they opted to have the shiplap cladding on the outside of their shed treated with a Grey Sikkens wood stain, which not only gives a long lasting protection to the timber, it also has a high colour pay off while allowing the grain of the wood to be seen through.

Internally, this shed benefits from having one of our 900mm tall and 600mm deep installed. It is made from oak-faced plywood to give it a solid, sturdy finish. This is to give our customer space to work on their DIY projects.
