This wonderful Wiveton Summerhouse
has been installed in this beautiful garden in Banstead, Surrey for a customer who wanted a building that could be used as a separate dining area as well as somewhere to entertain family and friends all year round. Like all of our garden buildings, this Wiveton was designed and hand-made to order by our in-house CAD engineers and the skilled craftsmen and women inside the factory at our HQ in Narford, Norfolk. It was then delivered and installed as part of our end-to-end service by members of our trustworthy installations team, who are the experts in making sure our buildings are installed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.
Our Wiveton Summerhouse is available in 5 different sizes, from 1.8 x 1.8m to 3.6 x 3.6m. Our customer has elected to have our 3.0 x 3.0m size, which is the second largest size we make our Wiveton Summerhouses in. Our customer chose our octagonally-shaped summerhouse as it has windows in 4 out of the 8 sides, as well as in the double door, which means they can enjoy the views of their magnificent garden from a multitude of angles. All of our windows are made using 4mm toughened safety glass, which this customer has chosen to double glaze at an additional cost. Our customer has also chosen to have Georgian bars added to the windows, which helps give the summerhouse traditional charm. The roof on this summerhouse has been covered with our cedar shingle roof tiles, which are designed to naturally weather to a silver/grey colour over time.
The exterior of this building has been finished using our shiplap cladding, designed to give the building a smooth look, made using FSC® certified timber that is machined from Redwood grown close to the Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden. Our customer likes green-tone colours so they have opted to paint the exterior in the colour Sage from our exterior paint system, which will help the building beautifully blend in with its surroundings. Our exterior paint system is a fully opaque, high-quality paint system which is weather resistant to give the timber extra protection.
I just had to write to you to say how happy we are with our beautiful new Wiveton Summerhouse. I also wanted to let you know how courteous, polite and efficient your construction team were. Nothing was too much trouble, they wanted to be sure that I was happy in every way with the summerhouse. I believe their names were Scott and Lee and I would be most grateful if you could pass on my thanks and congratulations to them for how they dealt with the construction work, how tidily they worked and how they even explained about the windows, door locks etc. I also want you to know what fantastic ambassadors they are for your company.

Internally, our customer has opted to have the walls painted with a shade from the Farrow & Ball interior paint system, Pointing, which is a neutral cream-toned colour. Our Wiveton Summerhouses come lined with insulation in the walls and ceiling as standard, but our customer has also opted to have insulation in the floor, and an electric pack with heater as well, to ensure maximum comfort levels are reached inside throughout the seasons.
