Experts from our installations team have installed one of our summerhouses in Hatfield, South Yorkshire, for a customer wanting a building from which they could unwind and enjoy their garden. Our customer opted for one of our Wiveton Summerhouses as they liked its traditional design. As it was designed and hand-made to order inside our Norfolk factory, our customer was able to select which of our interior and exterior design options they wanted to customise their new summerhouse to their personal taste. After being hand-crafted from FSC® certified timber by our skilled craftsmen, this timber summerhouse was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address. We include delivery and installation by our experts in the price of all our summerhouse installations as part of our end-to-end service.

The Wiveton Summerhouse is a traditional octagonal summerhouse. It has windows in four out of its eight sides, as well as in its double doors, which will flood the interior with plenty of natural light while also allowing you to appreciate your garden from multiple angles as you relax. The Wiveton Summerhouse is available in four different sizes, and our customer opted for our 3.0 x 3.0m size. The roof of this garden summerhouse is covered in cedar shingles and the windows are leaded in style. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap and painted in Pebble from our Exterior Paint System.

Internally, the Wiveton benefits from having the walls and ceiling lined and insulated so it can be used comfortably throughout the year. The walls and ceiling are lined with solid pine natural matchboard as standard, but for an alternative look, you can upgrade to painted matchboard lining. Our customer has opted to have the walls lined with Ivory painted matchboard, giving a light and bright feel inside. They have also chosen to have engineered flooring laid in Heritage Oak inside their garden summerhouse. As well as offering further personalisation, our engineered floorboard provide further insulating and sound-absorbing benefits by sitting on top of the standard floorboards, with a layer of underlay in between the two.
