Superior Shed with a Mortice Lock
This Superior Shed is 3.0 x 3.6m in size, and it has been installed in the back corner of our customer’s garden in Launton, Oxfordshire for use as a workshop to allow the customer to tinker away in peace and quiet in their own space at the bottom of the garden.
To enable the customer to use this shed as a true workshop, they have got oak faced ply lining, and insulation in the walls and ceiling to make a more comfortable atmosphere inside.
The customer also asked to have a mortice lock and door handle on a solid joinery door, as opposed to the sliding bolt that is usually provided with our Garden Sheds, to allow them to close the door behind them while they’re working inside.
My family and friends (and neighbours) love the shed it is the most superior design and a lot of people have commented positively about the build quality too.
Mr A - Enfield
Heavy duty felt has been used to cover the roof, which is a thick, non-rip felt that is propane torched onto the roof for longevity.
To add a bit of style, the customer chose to have Georgian windows, and the shed is painted in our Sikkens timber stain, in Walnut.
