Salthouse Garden Offices in Oxford | Crane Garden Buildings

We have installed one of our Salthouse garden offices in Oxford, Oxfordshire for a customer wanting an insulated garden office to work from home in throughout the year. This Salthouse garden office was designed and hand-made to order inside our Norfolk factory before being delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our installations team. We include delivery and installation in the price of all our garden buildings as part of our end-to-end service. This is to give you peace of mind that your new garden office is being installed by experts while also maintaining the high standards that we pride ourselves on.

The Salthouse garden office has a stylish pent roof design and a fully glazed front elevation that will allow plenty of natural light to flood the interior. Its design also includes at least one opening fanlight window to aid with airflow inside the building. This luxury garden office can be made in over 25 different sizes so you can choose the size that best suits your outdoor space. Our customer opted for a 1.8 x 2.4m Salthouse garden office, with a set of double doors to the front of the building and a fanlight window installed on both sides. The roof has been covered in heavy duty felt and the exterior is clad with shiplap, offering a smooth surface finish. The Salthouse garden office comes decorated using our Exterior Paint System as standard, but for a further choice in colour, you could upgrade to Farrow & Ball rich and fully opaque paint system, which this customer has opted for. Our customer opted to have their small garden office painted in the shade Down Pipe, which is a lovely dark grey colour.

We were impressed with the initial contact, visit and help from Jo. The installer worked hard and efficiently and were very polite and helpful during the whole process. The Salthouse Studio was completed by the end of the second day and we were very pleased with the result.

The Salthouse garden office comes fully insulated, lined, and double glazed as standard, which ensures comfortable conditions for working from home all throughout the year. This modern garden office allows you to work from home in style as you can customise it to your taste using our wide range of interior design options. Our customer opted to have the walls and ceiling lined with Farrow & Ball painted matchboard, with the wall colour being Ammonite and the ceiling colour being Pointing. They have also opted to have our heavy duty flooring made using timber boards that are ex 38mm thick, with engineered flooring laid on top in the colour Dark Oak, which not only enhances the style of this small garden office but also provides further insulating and sound absorbing benefits. Our customer also opted to have our electric pack installed from our wide range of optional extras, which will supply it with power and lighting.
