National Trust Traditional Summerhouse
This is the National Trust Ickworth Summerhouse
: it is 2.4 x 2.4m in size, it looks like a traditional beach hut, and it has been installed in our customer’s garden in Chaddesden, Derbyshire to use as a hobby room in the summer months, so they can take their hobby outside and enjoy their garden.
The Ickworth is one of four summerhouses in the National Trust range. It has an apex roof with a roof overhang over the front gable, giving it a chalet feel.
As a National Trust design, the summerhouses in the range have all got corrugated sheeting on the roof, leaded windows, vertically sawn external cladding, and the door and window furniture is made from cast iron in the Fleur-de-Leys style, all to give it that traditional touch.
To finish the National Trust range buildings in a natural way that allows them to blend in nicely with our customers gardens, there is a selection of six paint colours from the National Trust paint range to choose from. This customer chose Painters Grey.
