2.4 x 3.0m Classic Office Painted in Smoke with a Roof Overhang

One of our Classic Garden Offices was recently installed for a customer in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Intended for use as a convenient garden office for the hybrid worker, the building was designed and handmade at our Norfolk HQ before being carefully packaged and delivered by our professional fitting team. Assembled onsite in the customer's garden, the building was made using FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood timber which is sustainably sourced from our partnering timber mill in Sweden. In order to ensure the longevity and weatherproofing of the building, it was installed atop a level concrete base - something which is essential prior to us assembling the building.

The design of this 2.4 x 3.0m Classic Office features a pent roof covered with our torched-on, heavy-duty roofing felt. The interior is accessed via the double studio door, which our customer opted to have double-glazed. There is one opening window which will provide ventilation, accessorised with polished chrome hardware. The entire building is also insulated for optimum warmth with natural matchboard lining giving it a cosy cabin feel. Another optional extra that we offer on all buildings is the electrical pack, comprising four double sockets, one external double socket, an 8-way consumer unit and LED spotlights. This is a great feature to add to a garden office building so that you are able to power your computer and any other appliances and equipment.

Externally, the office has a compact and convenient shape with a slight overhang giving the building some protection against the elements. Also affording some protection from the weather is the black guttering that our customer added. To finish off the smooth shiplap cladding exterior, they also selected the shade Smoke from our Classic exterior paint range.
