The exterior of this spacious octagonal summerhouse in Cookham, Berkshire, features smooth shiplap cladding, a double door and four double sets of opening windows. The roof has been covered in our cedar shingle tiles, which give this Wiveton a traditional finish that is in keeping with our customer’s listed property. Painted in the colour, Old White from our Farrow & Ball paint system, this timeless shade makes this painted summerhouse a focal point and also exudes the whimsical charm our customer was trying to create for her garden sewing oasis.
Mr & Mrs B - Leicestershire - December 2020
Our Wiveton comes with lined and insulated walls and ceiling as standard, however, our customer also opted to have floor insulation installed on this octagonal summerhouse in order to maximise the year-round use of the building. There has also been an electric pack fitted to allow our customer to use all of their sewing equipment with ease. Our electric pack includes four double sockets, a light switch, an external double socket, lighting, and an 8-way consumer unit. To further accentuate the luxurious feel of this garden building, our customer has opted to have Farrow & Ball painted internal lining inside their building. Although we offer a range of internal paint options, our customer was set on having Farrow & Ball’s Shaded White No.201 painted on the interior, and therefore we tailored this Wiveton to her specific needs.
We are extremely passionate about bringing your visions to life and will do everything we can to ensure we create a result that is specifically designed to your needs and personal style. Despite requesting non-standard features, we were able to work collaboratively with this customer to turn our high-quality octagonal summerhouse into their dream sewing room, the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy life.
