This 10’ x 10’ Salthouse Studio with pent roof has been installed in our customer’s garden to use as an arts and crafts room for their children to use.
There are double doors in the middle of the front gable end, with a window on both sides of these doors, and another window on both sides of the studio. Both the windows and the doors have got full-length glass panels in them, making the front gable end a wall of glass, and giving the customer a clear view of what is happening in the studio from the house.
As well as these windows around the front, there is also a fanlight window high up on the back wall of the studio, which will be good for ventilation.
There is heavy duty felt on the roof, the cladding is shiplap and the studio has been painted in our Valtti Sandstone paint system for a lovely, neutral colour in their garden.
Inside the garden studio, the customer opted for natural matchboard lining on the walls, insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling, draught excluders in the doors and windows, a light oak lacquer on the floor and an electrical pack.
This is a very smart Salthouse Studio, and if you like the look of it, but don’t want to use it as an art studio, our Garden Studios are very versatile since they can be used all year round, and can be used for a multitude of reasons; whether that is for working on hobbies or crafts: making an office space: or creating a relaxation/entertainment room.
