Vivien wanted to create a dedicated haven in her garden—a place focused on quiet relaxation, reading, and taking full advantage of warmer months. While her main house felt cosy during winter, it lacked the open, sun-lit ambiance she craved during spring and summer afternoons.

“We don’t really go on holiday anymore, so our summerhouse is our oasis,” Vivien explains. “We’re right by the river, and it’s such a peaceful setting. Even our dog, Willow, and our cat love being out there in the sunshine."
