Manufacturing Operative
Job Purpose
Working within our manufacturing team you will be cladding and framing our buildings to a high standard of quality where you will have the opportunity to improve your woodworking skills to continue your personal development.
Principle Accountability
- Manufacturing processes to produce garden buildings.
- Operation, maintenance, and daily checks of various power tools and work working machinery.
- Moving products through the manufacturing process.
- Checking specifications of product to the drawings.
- Ensuring quality of product is maintained by quality checking.
- Working and auditing to Crane Operating Procedures produce quality workmanship within the allocated estimated times. Identify improvements and report them to the team leader.
- Report any safety, quality and fault issues
- Follow and enter data into the manufacturing platform.
- Continuously suggest and improve working practices.
Experience & Skills Required
- Experienced in working within a manufacturing environment and woodworking tools including nail guns
- Competent in working with measurements and dimensions with a good eye for detail
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials
- Confident in using tablets and other smart devices
- Appetite to learn new skills and processes
