Automated Saw Operator/Installer
Job Purpose
In this duo role you will have the opportunity to become an expert in operating our saw within a factory setting together with joining our installation team to install our quality buildings to delight our customers.
Principle Accountability
- Operation, maintenance and daily checks of saw machinery and various power tools
- Check specifications of product to the drawings
- Manufacturing products to our quality standards
- Continuous suggest and improve working practices
- Working and auditing Crane operating procedures to produce quality workmanship
- Ensure workstation and site is left clean and tidy for safety and customer expectations
- Act in a professional manner as an ambassador for the company
Experience & Skills Required
- Appetite to learn new skills and processes
- Experienced in working within a manufacturing environment
- Competent in working with measurements and dimensions with a good eye for detail
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
- Physically fit to lift heavy materials
- Confident in using tablets and other smart devices
- Previous experience of using saw machinery would be advantageous but not essential
- Welcome the opportunity to travel the country, with overnight stays to assist the team in installing our buildings
