3.0 x 4.2m Salthouse Studio Painted in Farrow and Ball Down Pipe with a Roof Overhang

Contemporary yet tasteful, this sleek Salthouse Studio was recently installed for customers based in Bath, Somerset. After careful consideration of each of our luxury garden studios, the customers opted for the Salthouse design thanks to the abundance of natural light enjoyed by its interior and the sophisticated exterior look. Opting for the 3.0 x 4.2m size, our customer intends to use this luxury garden building as an alternative entertainment, socialising and games space away from the main home. Perfectly positioned in an attractive part of the garden, the studio was made to order at our Norfolk HQ using FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood which is sourced sustainably from Sweden.

Externally, this modern garden studio features a pent roof design, which is clad in our torched-on, heavy-duty roofing felt for optimum protection against the elements. The roof also has a slight overhang along the front, which gives the double access doors and full-height windows some protection and finishes off the design beautifully. To the rear, there are two discreet opening fanlight windows, which are also double-glazed. From our range of opaque paint shades, the customer opted to finish off the smooth shiplap exterior in Farrow & Ball’s Down Pipe.

Our Salthouse Studio is now fully installed, painted, wired up, heated and we absolutely love it! Very impressed overall with how it looks and how solid it all feels.

Moving inside, the building is fully insulated and lined, which will ensure ambient comfort all year round. The doors and windows are equipped with polished brass hardware and the lacquered floor has a versatile natural finish. Similar to the exterior of the building, our customers chose from the Farrow & Ball paint options, selecting Manor House Gray for the walls and Ammonite for the ceiling. Our customers could also have opted for our additional electrical pack, which covers everything from indoor and outdoor sockets through to attractive LED spotlights, heating and even air conditioning.
