National Trust Garden Shed - Blickling

This National Trust Blickling Garden Shed is 2.4 x 3.6m in size, and it is installed in our customer’s charming, country garden in Flintham, Nottinghamshire for use as a potting shed. Like all of our FSC® certified wooden garden buildings, it was hand-made to order in our Norfolk workshop before being delivered and installed in our customer's garden by members of our trustworthy fitting team, who are the experts in ensuring our buildings are installed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

The sheds in the National Trust range come in set sizes, with the Blickling available in four sizes, 1.8 x 3.0m, 1.8 x 3.6m, 2.4 x 3.0m and 2.4 x 3.6m. As this particular Blickling Shed measures 2.4 x 3.6m, it has been made in our largest size. One of the main features of our Blickling is the 900mm wide built-in log store it has installed in the side of the building.

Our customers opt for the buildings from our National Trust range as they like its traditional design. The Blickling has olden style corrugated sheeting on the apex roof, the door furniture is made from cast iron featuring a mortice lock, and there is a set of Georgian style windows located in the side of the building. To give the shed a rustic finish, the external cladding is formed from roughly cut, vertically sawn boards.

From the first point of contact to installation the service received was fantastic. We are delighted with our National Trust Blickling Shed. A special mention for the two lovely and highly professional fitters who erected the shed with no fuss - they were great and impressively adhered to all COVID restrictions. To decorate the exterior, our customer has chosen to coat the timber in the neutral colour of Dome Ochre from the National Trust palette. There are also five other colours in the National Trust paint range to choose from, but they are all-natural colours which have been selected as they complement our customers' gardens beautifully.
