Garden Shed With Shiplap Cladding
This 3.0 x 4.2m Superior Shed
features an apex roof and was installed in our customer's garden in Heathfield, East Sussex.
Despite its size, this shed was considered permitted development and planning permission was not required. Read more about Planning Permission for Garden Buildings in our related article.
The exterior was finished in our standard tongue and groove shiplap cladding and was coated in our light oak preservative. It was combined with our heavy duty roofing felt, which provides long lasting protection against the weather and provides around 15 years of use under normal circumstances.
An internal partition allowed the customer to create a multi-use space for storage and work and a security pack which features integral window bars, safety screws and an anti-pick, anti-crop lock to keep even the most determined thieves at bay.
Peter was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. He is the sort of person who makes buying something that's a big-ticket item (and a Superior Shed was a big-ticket item for me) enjoyable and worry-free. His knowledge of the product and helpfulness in unhurriedly guiding the choice of specification was most impressive. The two fitters were both extremely polite, accommodating and very efficient.
