This stunning modern garden studio with a spacious veranda was recently installed for our happy customers in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Selected from our luxurious range of lifestyle buildings, the Holt Garden Studio features two walls of glazing and is perfect for slotting into a corner of the garden. As with all our buildings, the Holt was designed and handmade to order using FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood timber sustainably sourced from Sweden. Paying homage to the location of Crane HQ in East Anglia, the building takes its name from the historic market town of Holt in Norfolk.

Externally, this iconic garden building is defined by its statement, covered left-hand veranda which has been extended to 3.0m, mirroring the building itself. Made bespoke according to the needs of our customers, the building will provide an entertaining space for visiting friends and family. Externally, this Holt has a flat roof coated with EPDM. Also known as ethylene propylene diene terpolymer, EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane which is the best choice for low-sloping roofs. Opting for a two-tone finish, the customer selected shades of Black and Ivory, giving the shiplap exterior a contemporary, minimalist look.

The interior of the building is accessed via the double studio doors at the front and is completely insulated, lined and double-glazed. There are two opening fanlight windows which will provide both ventilation and allow our customers to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. They also opted to add an electrical pack to the building, which will provide heat, lights and power, ensuring that the building can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. In terms of interior decor, our customer has added painted matchboard lining in Ivory, along with engineered flooring in Chalk White. They also selected polished chrome hardware on the doors and windows, which finishes off this modern garden building beautifully.
