Our attractive Blakeney Summerhouse is reminiscent of chalet-holidays spent either beside the sea or among the trees on the slopes of the Alps. This nostalgia is perfectly encapsulated in the apex roof with overhang and double, fully-glazed doors that sit beneath. Designed and hand-built in Norfolk, this model was selected by a customer from our entire range of Summerhouses to be a retreat at the bottom of their garden. The building, like all our other timber buildings, was delivered and assembled at the customer's address by our installations team.
The Summerhouse measures 10 x 8ft, with a plethora of other size options also available. The apex roof is covered with attractive cedar shingles that boast a striking, handsome colour that will turn to silver as part of their natural ageing process. This roofing type is available alongside other options such as heavy-duty, heat-bonded felt and grey slate composite tiles. The exterior is clad with smooth shiplap that was selected over our alternative option of weatherboard. The cladding is painted in the opaque shade of Slate, which is just one of the many paint shades available. Internally, the customer opted to add heavy-duty flooring to the unlined building, so that it can withstand the storage of heavy equipment or frequent footfall.
