This charming Blakeney Summerhouse was recently designed and built for a customer wanting a recreational space in which they could relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Blakeney Summerhouse, alike all of our high-quality Garden buildings, is fabricated from FSC® certified Scandinavian Redwood timber and boasts a traditional chalet-style look that is reminiscent of beach holidays and rural retreats.
The Summerhouse has an apex roof covered externally with grey slate composite tiles and a short overhang on the gable, offering both shade and shelter for the double doors below. The building also benefits from double glazed windows with a georgian design and guttering along the fascia boards in preparation of wetter weather. Internally, there is heavy-duty flooring which is the ideal option for those wanting to store heavy equipment, machinery or are planning for frequent footfall. It is the perfect option for those who plan to use their building for something like a home-gym, dance studio or workshop.
I just wanted to let you know that we have been delighted with our Blakeney Summerhouse and it is getting a lot of use despite the appalling weather we have had since it went up on 13th June. The specification we eventually worked out with your help is exactly what we wanted and fits the site perfectly. Communication with the factory worked well and the team who came to install it did a very professional job. We will have no hesitation in recommending Crane to our friends.

Inside, there is also an electrical pack installed so that lighting and appliances can be used, making the summerhouse a year-round retreat for our customer. Externally it is clad with rustic weatherboard painted in the exterior paint shade of Cream. We offer a vast variety of paint options which also include a colour-matching service and a Farrow and Ball palette.
