10 x 18ft Insulated Garden Office

This 10 x 18ft (3.0 x 5.4m) Salthouse Studio has been installed in our customer’s garden to be used as a garden office.

Having an insulated garden office can be a wonderful thing to help give you the freedom to avoid commuting, but also give you a dedicated space to work that isn’t taking up room or getting in the way inside your home.

The Salthouse Studio is a pent roof building, and this one has a fully glazed single door and eight floor-to-ceiling windows to give a modern feel that really suits a garden office. To help the customer get the most out of their building, they have chosen to have a partition in their office to create a more functional space.

The partition creates a large office space of 3.0 x 4.2m, and an internal door leads to a decent sized storage cupboard at 3.0 x 1.2m. This means the customer can keep any clutter out of the main building, and can have filing cabinets, and stationary stocks kept out of the way to create a more harmonious workspace.

Two fanlight windows along the back wall will create air flow for the building on warmer days, and the door has a hook and eye catch to keep it open for further ventilation.

Our range of studios all come with full insulation, double glazing, and natural solid pine matchboard lining, so they can be used all through the year. Our customer also chose to have an electric pack installed to provide light and power.

The pent roof has been covered in our heavy duty felt, which has been heat-bonded onto the roof to increase its longevity, and the office has been painted in the colour Slate from our opaque Exterior paint range.
