Finance Analyst Assistant
Job Purpose
As a member of the finance team, you will contribute to all elements within the business, however your primary focus will be to ensure the finance department supports the business with accurate and timely data.
Preparation to Completion (ready for review)
- Monthly Sales and Repairs reporting
- Quarterly Building and Fitters reporting
- Quarterly returns for National Trust and RHS
- John Lewis half year/annual/ad hoc reconciliations
- Quarterly adjustments for site sales, commissions, subcontractors and receipts in advance
- Collate quarterly stocktake reports and update prices (Materials)
- Collate stocktake adjustments – Buildings and WIP
- Weekly Factory reporting
- Weekly John Lewis invoices onto Coupa Portal
Partial preparatory work (increasing with experience)
- Load data for show site profitability and management accounts
- Monthly transaction/nominal code review
- Monthly order book value work including On Hold and In Planning
- VAT return checks preparatory work
- Budget v Actual preparation and circulation
- Quarterly management accounts forecasts preparatory work
- Quarterly Sales Commission preparatory work
- Annual Sales Targets preparatory work
- Schedules for accountants and PEFC audits
Yearly file creation work
- Quarterly Management Accounts creation
- Annual (Daily) cashflow file creation
- Annual/Department budget creation
Adhoc Accountabilities
- Insurance queries/claims
- ONS Surveys
- New supplier forms
