This chalet-style Blakeney Summerhouse is 2.4 x 2.4m in size, and it has been installed in our customer’s tree-surrounded garden in Aldeburgh, Suffolk for use as a comfortable outdoor hobby and relaxation room.

The Blakeney Summerhouse appeals to a lot of our customers who are looking for a simple, yet pleasing beach hut style building, and this customer has tailored it to their needs with the addition of painted matchboard lining, and insulation in the walls and ceiling.

These two features give a homely feel to the inside of the summerhouse, and will make it a comfortable area to sit and enjoy their garden from.

The material on the roof of this Blakeney is heavy duty felt, which is a thick, durable material that is propane torched on to the roof to further increase its longevity.

I just wanted to let you know that we have been delighted with our Blakeney Summerhouse and it is getting a lot of use despite the appalling weather we have had since it went up on 13th June. The specification we eventually worked out with your help is exactly what we wanted and fits the site perfectly. To help blend in with the surrounding garden, the customer chose the paint colour, Lizard from our opaque exterior paint system, and polished brass door and window furniture has been selected to add a more traditional touch.
